With its considerable infrastructural uplift Ghaziabad’s
real estate market is attracting investors in huge numbers. At present, a majority of those investing
their money in the city’s property market are investors. Estimates suggest that
among buyers, the percentage of investors is as high as 40 per cent.
Investors are willing to invest across categories and
budgets. They are making a portfolio of properties for themselves having 2-BHK,
3-BHK and 4-BHK configurations
Investors are also looking at new ways to generate profits
from their investments. Thus in Ghaziabad they mainly look for quick sale-quick
profit on their investments. Investors in Ghaziabad are frequently buying
freshly launched properties and selling them within a short span of time. A
property frequently changing hands increases the scope for appreciation.
There are investors who purchase a property in about Rs 45
lac, spend Rs 2-3 lakh in refurbishing the apartment and then sell it for Rs
50-55 lac within two months of buying
